Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Would you follow a guide who is lost?"

Play the short Yunus clip of ayat 31–40 from The Quran DVD.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who guides to the truth?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why follow only the One who truly guides?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 35. Idols cannot move or guide themselves, so how can they guide anyone? Allah guides to the truth through His Book and His messengers. Following Him is the wise choice.

Fact: How trail markers help hikers stay on the path.

Ages 5–8: Follow the guide. Play a game where one person guides blindfolded walkers safely.

Ages 9–12: Good guides. Write how the Qur'an and the Sunnah guide us.

Finish with: "Hikers follow trail ___."

Talk together:

• Who guides to the truth?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why not follow a lost guide?
• How does the Qur'an guide you?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for guidance in every prayer."

• Allah guides to truth.
• Play follow the guide.
• Ask for guidance.
• Next time: the next ayah (10:36) says guesses cannot replace the truth. Explore it together!

Action: Ask Allah for guidance in every prayer.
