Ask: "What if the friends you trusted turned away from you?"

Islamic Education Academy posted a short recitation of ayat 21–30 of Yunus. Listen to all of it together.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the partners say?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would false gods deny their followers?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 28. On the Day of Judgment, Allah will gather people and those they worshipped instead of Him. The worshipped ones will separate from them and refuse to be blamed. Only Allah can truly be relied on.

Fact: Find a similar scene in Maryam 19:81–82.

Ages 5–8: Trusty friend. Talk about why Allah is the friend who never leaves.

Ages 9–12: Who to rely on. Write why relying on Allah is wise.

Finish with: "Allah is the friend who never ___."

Talk together:

• What will the partners say?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why can only Allah be relied on?
• How can you rely on Allah more?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say hasbiyallah, Allah is enough for me, when worried."

• False partners walk away.
• Allah never leaves.
• Say hasbiyallah.
• Next time: the next ayah (10:29) continues the partners' words. Explore it together!

Action: Say hasbiyallah, Allah is enough for you, when worried.
