فَهَلْ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلَّا مِثْلَ أَيَّامِ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ قُلْ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ إِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ
Fahal' yantaẓirūna 'illā mith'la 'ayyāmi -lladhīna khalaw' min qab'lihim' . qul' fa-ntaẓirū 'innī maʻakum mmina l-muntaẓirīna
Do they then expect (any thing) but (what happened in) the days of the men who passed away before them? Say: "Wait ye then: for I, too, will wait with you."

The deniers are waiting only for days like those of the peoples before them, so the Prophet told them to wait, and he would wait with them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens if you keep ignoring the weather warning?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What are the deniers waiting for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did the Prophet say 'I am waiting with you'?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 102. The deniers were acting as if nothing would happen. The ayah reminds them, in one line, of what happened to earlier peoples. The Prophet waited patiently, sure of Allah's promise.
Fact: The meaning of sabr, patience, and three kinds of it.
Ages 5–8: Waiting game. Wait patiently for a treat and practise sabr.
Ages 9–12: Sabr. Write three kinds of patience and an example of each.
Finish with: "Sabr means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will practise sabr when I want something right away."
Action: Practise sabr when you want something right away.
