Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What words do you say most often?"

Put on Raad Al-Kurdi's Yunus from OneUmmah and follow along for a little while.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three things will the people of Jannah say?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why will people still praise Allah in Jannah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 10. In Jannah, people's words will be beautiful: they will say subhanakallahumma, glory be to You, O Allah; greet each other with salam; and finish with alhamdulillahi rabbil 'alamin.

Fact: Where in the daily prayer we say alhamdulillahi rabbil 'alamin. Hint? The first surah.

Ages 5–8: Jannah words. Practise saying subhanallah, salam and alhamdulillah.

Ages 9–12: Word habit. Choose times in your day for each of the three phrases.

Finish with: "Alhamdulillahi rabbil 'alamin is in Surah ___."

Talk together:

• What will people say in Jannah?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why is salam a special greeting?
• Which phrase will you say more?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will greet my family with salam every morning."

• Glorify, greet, praise.
• Practise the three phrases.
• Spread salam.
